- Misc Licensing Fees (PDF)
- Licensing Privacy Notice (PDF)
The Council's licensing scheme requires manually powered vessels for day hire to be licenced on inland waterways, from locations in North Norfolk.
The scheme does not cover boats for coastal use. They are dealt with by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
Anyone operating manually powered boats for hire as day boats requires to be licensed as an Operator. Each boat (sailing boat, canoe or rowing boat) requires an individual licence. The licences are valid for 3 years.
The timescale for determining this application will be 14 days following the date of receipt of an acceptable and complete application by this Authority.
Renewal letters are sent approximately 6 weeks before the licence expires.
