When was the last time you had a look round your local market?
North Norfolk has a number of thriving weekly markets and most of them are open all year round. The markets run by North Norfolk District Council are listed below:
- Tuesday: Stalham
- Wednesday: Sheringham (April to October only)
- Friday: Cromer
- Saturday: Sheringham
There are also markets at North Walsham (Thursday) and Fakenham (Thursday) and these are run by North Walsham and Fakenham Town Councils respectively.
Looking to sell goods?
The markets are always looking for new traders - particularly when they are selling goods that are not already represented on other stalls. The Market Trader's Guide and application form give further information .
The pitch charges for the NNDC run markets are shown in the table below:

In addition to the above, all markets have one space available for Charity use (non-political), which is free of charge. An individual charity can only use the space once per year.
New TradersIf you would like to apply for a pitch on any of the NNDC run markets or find out more about the charity pitch, complete the Market Traders Application Form and send it to the markets Manager at the address given below. On approval, a market licence and invoice are issued. Payment is required in advance for which we are able to offer a variety of payment methods.
Traders Vehicles
No charge is made for traders vehicles parked within the pitch. vehicles parked outside the allocated pitch must comply with the relevant car parks charging regime.
