Mundesley huts

We can’t guarantee the weather but all our facilities have great views of the sea and are no more than a few feet away from our celebrated beaches and colourful resorts.  All situated within walking distance of amenities, hiring a hut or chalet provides an ideal place to explore the surrounding area, store buckets and spades, get changed after a bracing swim or just relax with a good book.

Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or a base for family fun we have the ideal hut or chalet for you – at any time of the year! North Norfolk District Council lets purpose-built beach chalets at Cromer and Sheringham. There are also beach hut sites at Cromer, Sheringham, Overstrand and Mundesley.

Information and Updates for current Licence Holders

Updates:

Sheringham Prom (east)

A planning application for the new Sheringham east promenade lighting scheme has been submitted and can be viewed through the planning portal at www.northnorfolk.org/planning, reference number PF/11/1444.  If the application is successful it is anticipated that the new wind and solar powered lamps will be installed as soon as possible.  The lamps will be located to the rear of the promenade and in some cases where the huts are close together, it may be necessary to slightly move the hut positions to accommodate enough space for the lamps.  It is hoped that the lamps will be installed by Easter but this is dependant on a variety of issues and precise dates cannot be confirmed until the planning application is approved.  Further information including programme for installation will be viewable on this website  from mid-February.
