CRed - Carbon Reduction
CRed - Carbon Reduction

CRed (the Community Carbon Reduction Project based at the University of East Anglia) and North Norfolk District Council have joined forces to help local residents and businesses reduce their carbon footprint.

In North Norfolk we are fortunate to enjoy a varied and high quality environment, which is essential in sustaining our social well-being and economic prosperity. However some human activites can have a negetive impact on both our local and the global environment, and climate change is now recognised as one of the major challenges facing society today.

North Norfolk District Council is dedicated to reducing its own carbon footprint, which will in turn help to reduce costs, and would like to encourage others, both individuals and businesses to do likewise.

Please log onto the CRed North Norfolk website at www.cred-uk.org/northnorfolk and make a pledge to do your bit to help safeguard the environment.
