Christmas Parking Bonus for North Norfolk Shoppers

Car parking in North Norfolk's market towns will be free for two hours on the four Saturdays before Christmas, in a festive gesture by North Norfolk District Council - and to bring shoppers into the towns at this critically-important time of year for the retail sector.

Starting tomorrow [3 December] and every Saturday up to and including Christmas Eve, on 24 December, anyone parking in car parks at Cromer, Holt, Fakenham, North Walsham, Sheringham, Stalham and Wells-next-the-Sea can park for up to two hours for free, or stay for two hours longer than they pay for.

Shoppers will not need to display a ticket in those car parks if they are going to stay for less than two hours. If they expect to stay longer, they must buy a ticket but should pay for two hours less than their intended stay (for example, if they want to stay for three hours, they should buy a ticket for one hour).
