Online Payments

Please note:

* Credit cards are not accepted for Council Tax and Business Rates. Credit cards can only be used for car park season tickets and sundry or miscellaneous invoices.
* Debit cards are accepted for all payments.
* Diners Cards and American Express Cards are not accepted.

The following is a list of alternative methods of payment.

The Council's preferred method of payment is Direct Debit:
Paying by Direct Debit is the most cost effective and secure method of payment. Direct Debit is by far the cheapest method of payment for the Council to administer and by choosing this method you will help keep Council Tax down. You can set up a direct debit to make payments to your account on the 1st, 10th or 20th of each month. Call us on 01263 516230 quoting your bill reference number and have your bank details to hand.

Debit card:
Call our cashiers on 01263 516072/516294 Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
Quote your bill reference number and give you debit card details.

In person:
You can pay at the Council Office at Holt Road, Cromer. Our cashiers are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Take your NNDC payment card or quote your bill reference number.

Post Office
Post Office
If you pay by one of the following methods, it is recommended that you allow 5 working days for your payment to be processed to ensure that the payment reaches your account by the instalment dates, as shown on the front of your bill.

Pay at a Post Office:
Take your NNDC payment card to a Post Office or Paypoint with your payment.
When making a payment at a Post Office make cheques payable to Post Office Ltd.

Telephone and Internet Banking:
If your bank offers telephone or internet banking the North Norfolk District Council bank details to use are:

Please quote your bill reference number to ensure your payment reaches your account.

Pay at a Bank:
When making a payment at a bank make cheques payable to NNDC, some banks may charge a fee.
When paying at a bank the Council bank details to use are:

Post a cheque:
Make your cheque payable to North Norfolk District Council
Write your bill reference number on the reverse of the cheque
Send it to NNDC, Holt Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9EN
Receipts will not be issued unless a pre-paid self addressed envelope is provided
Please do not send cash or post date your cheque
