  If it is your own property you should find the boundaries specified on the deeds of the property.

Drainage

• Where are my drains?
  They may be on a plan of any planning consents for the property. The Council does not hold any overall plan of drains for the area.

• Is there proof of surface water run off into a soakaway?
  This maybe on a planning consent for the property. Building Regulations Control do not keep plans for more than 15 years after completion and there may be a fee to find the information.

• Do I need planning permission to erect a wind turbine?
  In most cases, you will require planning permission. If your property is a listed building, and the generator will be fixed to the building, a separate application for Listed Building consent will also be required. The Government has announced that it intends to relax the legislation to make it easier for small wind turbines to be installed but this is still pending.
