Level 1 - up to £33,661 per annum, plus essential car user allowance
Level 2 - up to £38,042 per annum, plus essential car user allowance.
We are seeking an outgoing and self confident person to be the lead practitioner in developing, managing and maintaining sound and effective emergency planning and business continuity systems in North Norfolk District Council.
The role will be challenging and requires first rate organisational, planning and interpersonal skills. Holding a degree in a relevant field or learning and possessing a solid understanding of legislation and policy, you will provide expert advice to senior managers and committees where appropriate. The post holder will provide the primary liaison point for other partner agencies and voluntary groups in preparing for and dealing with any emergency response.
You will be working in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a glorious coastline and excellent opportunities for cultural and recreational activities.
