Bulky Waste

Fridges or Freezers

Please note: This service is only available for domestic properties.

North Norfolk District Council offers a collection service for fridges and freezers. This is a pre-payment service and the charges are detailed below (please note £31.50 will be deducted from any refunds):

  • For 1 or 2 fridges/freezers £38.50

Furniture

Please note: This service is only available for domestic properties.

North Norfolk District Council offers a collection service for furniture. This is a pre-payment service and a guide to the charges is listed below (please note there will be no refunds for £31.50 payment, and £31.50 will be deducted from any payment above this sum):

  • 1 to 3 items £31.50
  • 4 to 6 items £35.20
  • 7 to 9 items 47.40
  • More than 9 items a price can be given on request.

To make arrangements for a collection

Residents can either telephone our Customer Services Team on 01263 516189/516301 option 1 to pay with a credit/debit card or alternatively, residents can post a cheque payable to North Norfolk District Council with a covering letter giving details of all the items that need collecting, along with your name, collection address and telephone number. The letter should be sent to Environmental Health, North Norfolk District Council, Holt Road, Cromer, NR27 9EN.

The bulky items that require collection will need to be presented outside of the property, this usually takes place within 7 working days from the receipt of your payment. If you wish to know which of those 7 working days the collection will be made then please request an appointment.
