North Norfolk Fit Together

Active Norfolk WalksActive Norfolk Walks

Active Norfolk and Sport England, along with local authorities and the PCT, are currently running the North Norfolk Fit Together scheme. The project is part of the Norfolk-wide Fit Together initiative sponsored by Lloyds Pharmacy, aimed at improving health and fitness for those in mid-life and beyond.

Beginning last October the scheme offers walking, cycling, keep fit, dancing and badminton across the district. Walks are offered for all abilities from Monday to Friday and are free of charge. Cycling is also free of charge, however, for keep fit, dancing and badminton there is a small charge of £2.00 per person.

The current programme runs from September until January 2009. Please follow the link to browse the current programme and other Fit Together schemes in the Norfolk area. For a programme or more information please contact the North Norfolk co-ordinator, Melanie Brown, at NNDC, Holt Rd, Cromer, Norfolk, NR26 8RS or contact her on (01263) 516029) or 0782 6869377 or melanie.brown@north-norfolk.gov.uk or visit your local Lloyds Pharmacy store in Sheringham, Cromer, or Aylsham.

For all activities you just need to turn up at the meeting point, however, for cycling you do need to book a place. Please download a registration form, complete and bring it along to your first Fit Together activity.

Click to view the Active Norfolk Lloyds Pharmacy website where you will find details of all the walks and activities.
