Car Parking
Please note: Beach Road, Sea Palling and Coast Road, Bacton are no longer part of NNDC's remit.
Car Parking Charges
These car parking charges come into effect 1 April 2010.
Parking charges apply daily between 8am and 6pm.
Daily charges are as follows:
- Standard Car Parks - £1 per hour for first two hours, there after 70p per hour, 8am to 6pm.
- Mini-Stay (at some Coastal Short-Stay Car Parks and Standard Car Parks) - 10p for 20 minutes maximum.
- Coastal Long-Stay Car Parks - £1.10 per hour, maximum £5 charge - tickets are transferable between long-stay car parks.
- Coastal Short-Stay Car Parks - £1 per hour, maximum stay 3 hours.

Please note:
Disabled Blue Badge holders are not exempt from charges.

Coach Parks
Coach Parks are available at the following locations:
- Cadogan Road, Cromer
- Station Road, Sheringham
- Polka Road, Wells-next-the-Sea

- The use of the ticket is not limited to one car park. The ticket is limited to the car specified at the time of purchase of the ticket. However, a season ticket can be requested to cover two cars in a single household. The ‘dual’ ticket can then be used for either car as circumstances require.
- The purchase of a car park season ticket does not guarantee a parking space.
- All tickets must be displayed on your windscreen/dashboard in full view. Short-Stay tickets incorporate a time-dial which must be set on arrival and displayed in the windscreen.
- Long-Stay tickets are not valid for Albert Street Car Park, Holt, unless endorsed as such. (Customers wishing to buy a Long Stay ticket for use at Albert Street Car Park in Holt must be residents of Holt and must apply to one of the Council's offices.)
- Season tickets are NOT valid at the following locations:
Budgens car parks; private car parks at The Quay and Pinewoods, Wells-next-the-Sea; The Bridewell, Walsingham; High St, Blakeney; The Carnser, Blakeney or Letheringsett Hill, Holt.

FAKENHAM CONNECT - Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.00pm Oak Street, Fakenham, Norfolk (payment by debit or credit card only)
You can purchase Weekly Tickets for £25 by visiting TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRES in North Norfolk .
Standard Charge Notices (SCNs) are issued by the Enforcement Authority to vehicles which contravene the traffic regulations orders. Under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the vehicle's registered owner/keeper and not the driver is liable for payment of the charge.
How much is a Standard Charge?
In the North Norfolk District the standard charge is £75, although this charge will be reduced to the sum of £40 if paid within 14 days of the issue date.
How do I pay?
You will need your Standard Charge Notice number when making a payment.
By Telephone - You can pay by debit or credit card by calling our Customer Service team on 01263 516294 Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Fridays 8.30am – 4.30pm
By Post - You can pay by cheque (made payable to North Norfolk District Council). Please write your 11 digit Standard Charge number on the reverse of the cheque and post to: North Norfolk District Council, Holt Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9EN

What can I do if I disagree with the issue of the Standard Charge Notice (SCN)?
If you receive a SCN and believe you are not liable to pay the charge you can make a case for appeal using the Standard Charges Appeal form.
The Standard Charge Notice which has been issued to you can NOT be cancelled or waived through personal conversation or interview with Council officers. Appeals can only be made by using the Standard Charges Appeal form or in writing (stating the Standard Charge Notice number) and sent to:

The Car Parks Manager will write to you with a decision within 14 days. If your objection is accepted the SCN will be cancelled. If your objection was received within 14 days of the SCN issue date then you will be given a further 14 days to pay at the reduced rate of £40. The discounted rate will not apply if payment is made after this 14 day period.
