North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) / Coastal Partnership East is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and competent contractor to provide a landscape Character Assessment and Landscape Sensitivity Study.

Provide a new Landscape Character Assessment (LCA). The intention is that the LCA will form part of the new Development Plan and have the status of a Supplementary Planning Document. This will encompass a review of the current Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) to ensure it is up to date and accurately reflects the character of the landscape of the District and is consistent with the NPPF, Guidelines for Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment (GLVIA 3) and National Character Areas (NCAs). The updated LCA should also be compatible with the Norfolk Coast AONB Integrated Landscape Character Guidance and neighbouring LCAs (where appropriate). Identify Valued Landscapes with reference to relevant sections of GLVIA 3, including cultural and heritage assets, for inclusion within the updated LCA.

The quotation will be conducted via the Delta-eSourcing solution Quick Call; interested parties can view the Invitation to Bid documents once registration has taken place. Further information will be found in the Invitation to Bid documents.

To respond to this opportunity, please email cathy.batchelar@north-norfolk.gov.uk
