Norfolk County Council Trading Standards are highlighting the latest consumer scams in Norfolk.
The Government is giving funding to local authorities so they can provide relief from Non-Domestic rates worth up to £1,500 a year in 2015/16 and up to £1,000 a year in 2014/15 to retail premises with a rateable value of up to £50,000. This will provide support to premises including pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. Full details are given in the Rate Relief guidance notes and policy statement in the sidebar.
Please note: If you are in receipt of Retail Relief for 2015/16 this will end on 31st March 2016 as this scheme has been abolished from 1st April 2016. New applications can still be considered for periods of occupation prior to 1st April 2016.
