The Cedars is located on New Road, North Walsham, immediately east of the town's Market Place and within walking distance of the train station. The building is directly opposite the town post office and a short distance from the town's central bus interchange, New Road public car park, and the public library. It is close to many coffee shops, places to eat, and major supermarkets.

The building is arranged over the ground and first floor, with a large communal meeting room available on the ground floor and a newly fitted communal kitchen on the first floor. It is a Grade 2 listed building, originally built as a residence in the 18th century. The council has extensively refurbished the building, which was completed in 2023. The building is available as a multi-let office with a range of single offices and office suites.

Rent and service charges

The council welcomes proposals from interested parties and would be open to considering commercial or community uses. The council will retain responsibility for the structure of the premises and any external repair and decoration. The annual costs of this would be recovered through the service charge.

The utilities supplied to the premises will be charged to the tenants on a fair proportion through the service charge.
