This concession pitch is in a prime location in Overstrand, located at the main access point of the Pauls Lane car park. It is next to the deep history coast discovery point and just off the the route off the national coastal footpath. Vehicle access is via the main entrance to the car park.

Description

This concession pitch is available for mobile businesses. Hot food businesses are considered to be the most appropriate for this pitch, however others will be considered.

The pitch is available for up to 3 years.

Utilities

The pitch is not serviced.

Use

The following business types will not be considered for this site:

• ice cream sales
• fish and chip sales
• alcohol sales
• any other sales deemed not appropriate for the site

Operating hours

Operating hours are restricted to the following daily times:

• open at 10am
• close at 7.30pm or dusk, whichever is earlier

Costs to consider

Rent

Offers above £5250 per annum will be considered.

VAT

The council does not intend to charge VAT on the rent.

Waste

The operator must provide bins for customers at this site. One of the following waste options must be arranged:

• a commercial waste service - for collection onsite
• a waste carrier licence - for businesses to dispose of their waste offsite

Business rates

The pitch will be subject to business rates payments, unless the operator qualifies for small business rate relief.

Parking

If the operator requires a second vehicle to be onsite, it will need to display a valid parking ticket or season ticket.
