North Norfolk is a safe place to live, work and visit and we would like to keep it that way!
Effective solutions to anti-social behaviour are not the responsibility of a single agency or organisation. The North Norfolk Operational Partnership Team (OPT) co-ordinates the response to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) across the district. The North Norfolk OPT is made up of representatives from North Norfolk District Council, Victory Housing Trust and Norfolk Constabulary and contributes to the Early Help Hub hosted by the Council. The OPT partners operate a ‘Right Place First Time’ protocol where any complaint of ASB would be taken and directed to the correct agency for investigation.
The Anti-Social Behaviour Co-ordinator will act as the conduit between the partner agencies to ensure effective communications, data sharing and co-ordinated and consistent approach to supporting victims and dealing with perpetrators of ASB using appropriate escalation models.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent organisational skills. You will have a proven track record of resolving ASB issues though a range of interventions in an inter-agency working environment. You will also need good communication and customer care skills, together with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, to work well both in a team and on your own initiative, are also essential, as is a flexible approach to work.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory Baseline Personnel Security (BPSS) check, which includes a verification of unspent criminal records.
North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community.
We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours, a career average pension scheme and take pride in achieving Investors in People Gold standard.
Please note that we do not accept CVs unless accompanied by a fully completed application form. Please send all completed application forms to HR@north-norfolk.gov.uk.
