North Norfolk is an attractive rural District with beautiful coastline, fantastic landscapes and big skies.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career as a landscape officer, working with the support of experienced officers within the Council’s Landscape team.
Whilst you will be expected to manage your own caseload, with the support of the Landscape Team, you will be able to develop your knowledge and experience in providing planning consultation responses in relation to arboriculture, landscape, biodiversity and ecology matters.
It is important that you have a good general standard of education, strong IT skills and an interest in working in a busy environment. Ideally you will be working towards completion of a degree & professional qualification (equivalent or higher than a level 4 diploma) in a related discipline.
If you want to be part of an enthusiastic and forward-thinking team, with a varied and challenging workload - we would like to hear from you.
North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community. We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours, a career average pension scheme and take pride in achieving Investors in People Silver standard.
Please note that we do not accept CVs unless accompanied by a fully completed application form. Please send all completed application forms to HR@north-norfolk.gov.uk.
