Our waste collection service is a cost effective way of disposing your household garden waste.
North Norfolk is abundant with opportunities and we want to create the environment in which business can grow and young people can achieve their full potential.
With a passion for helping young people and a good understanding of the world of business, you will help ensure local skills match business needs. By confidently liaising with businesses (large and small), schools, colleges and training establishments you will develop networks and deliver initiatives that help to address the challenges faced with the recruitment and retention of young people.
Working within the Council’s Economic Growth team you will help raise aspirations and equip young people for careers that support local business and enterprise through the development of initiatives and projects with a wide range of partner organisations. You will be confident, dynamic and able to spot opportunities to collaborate.
You will be familiar with the education and skills agenda, current developments in apprenticeship and the North Norfolk economy.. Experience of working in Local Government or the education sector would be an advantage but applicants with a business background would be equally encouraged. You will have the creativity and drive to develop new ideas and the initiative to develop these into workable projects.
North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community. We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours and a career average pension scheme.
