We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and engaging Communications and PR Manager to join our senior team. This is a wide-ranging and challenging role in which no two days will be the same and where you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Communications Strategy.
As our lead advisor on every aspect of communication, you will work closely with the Leader of the Council, Cabinet and senior management team, as well as elected members and staff. You will be comfortable and expert at building positive relationships with local and national media to maximise positive press coverage for our amazing district and improving our engagement with customers, partners and stakeholders. Exceptional relationship building skills and strong political acumen are crucial in this role.
Leading a Communications Team encompassing media, public relations, social media, internal communications and design, your professional expertise will range from traditional media relations, through to brand development and maximising our use of digital media.
