Our Environmental Protection team are responsible for everything from nuisance to air quality, private sector housing to dog fouling, ASB to contaminated land. Putting the customer at the heart of every decision, you will look for ways we can continue to improve our services whilst making every pound count. You will develop the service plan that helps the Council meet its ambitious objectives, whilst growing and nurturing the team’s talents to promote best practice, and manage change.
You will use your excellent commercial acumen to build on our already innovative approaches and to identify further opportunities to generate income or deliver savings. As an assertive individual, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, you will have the ability to offer both technical and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders, through exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
