An opportunity has arisen for keen and enthusiastic officers to join the Environmental Protection Team.

The Environmental Protection Team is a front line regulatory team dealing with a wide range of environmental complaints including; noise, nuisance, fly tipping, waste crime, anti-social behaviour, dog fouling and environmental permitting.

You will either hold a relevant degree or an HND/C (or equivalent), together with experience and training.

You must have excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is essential. A full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle is essential.

This is a demanding role and the successful candidate will be well organised and able to work flexibly. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.

We are ideally looking for experienced officers but we would consider applicants who are nearing completion of a degree in Environmental Health or similar qualification.
