Our waste collection service is a cost effective way of disposing your household garden waste.
North Norfolk is an attractive rural District with beautiful coastline, fantastic landscapes and big skies within easy reach of the fine City of Norwich.
Working across the Environmental Health Service you will be responsible for monitoring inspections, assessments, basic investigations and evidence collection in support of regulatory functions or contract monitoring for the Environmental Protection and Environmental Services Teams, helping us to create a better, cleaner environment for North Norfolk.
A lot of your time will be spent working outside of the office around the district, dealing with a wide range of people, including members of the public, contractors, councillors and commercial customers. An ability to work unsupervised is a crucial skill for the successful candidate and your customer service skills must be professional and helpful even in the face of demanding and testing situations.
If you want to be part of an enthusiastic and forward thinking team, with a varied and challenging workload - we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a satisfactory enhanced criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).
North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community.
We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours, a career average pension scheme and take pride in achieving Investors in People Gold standard.
Please note that we do not accept CVs unless accompanied by a fully completed application form. Please send all completed application forms to HR@north-norfolk.gov.uk.
