As our HR Advisor, you will be providing first line support to managers and employees on policy and procedure enquiries and taking the lead in supporting managers across the organisation with Recruitment, Health, Wellbeing and Attendance. You will work closely with the HR Business Partner to keep them up to date with cases, to escalate any issues and support case work as appropriate.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR service through development and revision of policy, procedure and process and in supporting the HR Manager in organising and delivering the Council’s learning and development activities.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of good people management practice, a good foundation knowledge of broad HR topics and a CIPD level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience). You will need to be a confident communicator and be able to juggle a varied and full workload.
