We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to provide maternity cover for our growing applications team within the IT department. You will be responsible for the delivery of innovative business solutions, as well as supporting and maintaining existing in-house and third party applications.

You will need a good understanding of application and infrastructure security and data protection.

You will be able to cope with a demanding schedule of work which is subject to tight deadlines and conflicting priorities, as well as having the skills to interpret business requirement and design and deliver innovative, web based solutions for the public, partners and internal staff.

You will employ your experience to manage and motivate the applications team to deliver the modern applications and systems that support the Council in meeting its service delivery responsibilities to the people of north Norfolk.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory Baseline Personnel Security (BPSS) check, which includes a verification of unspent criminal records.
