Join us in North Norfolk – big skies and big ambitions
Here at North Norfolk District Council we are looking to the future. Our Corporate Plan and Financial Strategy requires us to deliver better services for people across one of the UK’s most attractive places. At the heart of our ambitions is a drive to increase the commercialism of Council owned assets and the potential expansion of the property portfolio.
Reporting to the Asset & Property Programme Manager, you will not only provide support for the development of property based Council contracts and contract management, you will provide wider corporate support across the Council with regard to the procurement of a variety of goods and services. You will have a keen interest in developing your career in procurement and have a good understanding of relevant current legislation, including EU directives and electronic procurement.
Being a natural team player with excellent interpersonal skills and influencing abilities, you will have developed a proven record of delivering successful procurement projects within an organisation with a diverse property portfolio. With strong analytical skills, you will have a natural ability to focus on customer requirements and interpret information to develop policies, practices and procedures that support successful, cost effective procurement.
North Norfolk District Council is committed to equality and diversity in employment and encourages applications from all sections of the community.
We offer employees a friendly working environment, flexible working hours, a career average pension scheme and take pride in achieving Investors in People Gold standard.
