We are looking for two experienced Officers to join our high performing Team. Primarily working within Council Tax and Non-Domestic (Business) Rates dealing with billing, collection and enforcement, you should be committed, energetic, enthusiastic and above all adaptable to the challenges of the fast paced world of revenues collection.
With excellent IT skills, you will have the ability to use a variety of computer systems including Civica OpenRevenues and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in your work within a pressurised environment. Experience of working to tight deadlines and excellent organisational skills are vital to the role. Experience of document management systems would be an advantage.
Applicants must possess good verbal communication, reasoning and numeracy skills in order to negotiate debt payments with customers both over the telephone and in person, in sometimes difficult and highly charged circumstances and must be tenacious in their approach whilst displaying empathy and offering a first class customer service.
