A further consultation on proposals to create a car park on part of North Lodge Park is being undertaken following receipt of additional information and amended plans.

The consultation period will end on Wednesday, 7 December 2016.

The changes to the proposal are:

  • The design and access statement for the proposal has been updated to include a statement on the impact of the proposals on the conversation area,
  • Revised layout for a 47 space car park to create more room to access the ramp by the proposed toilets
  • Inclusion of motorcycle parking provision
  • A new lighting column next to the pay and display machine

Cllr Tom FitzPatrick, Leader of North Norfolk District Council said: “We will be re-advertising the proposals in light of minor changes to the design following comments already received through public consultation.

“I hope this will give people the time to comment and make their views known prior to the meeting of the Development Committee in December.”
