Broadland Housing Association has completed the final phase of its 16 home housing development in the village of Bodham.

The project, which was a landmark partnership with North Norfolk District Council and the first of its kind in the county, includes seven affordable homes for rent and three homes sold on a shared ownership basis.

Six market sale homes were also developed as part of the scheme, the first phase of which was finished more than 10 years ago.

All the affordable homes have been prioritised for households with local connections through residence, family and employment to households with a connection to Bodham and its adjoining parishes of Baconsthorpe, Hempstead, High Kelling, Kelling, Matlaske, West Beckham, Weybourne and Upper Sheringham.

Providing affordable local homes for local people is a key priority for the Council and we are really pleased to be able to celebrate with Broadland Housing Group the completion of the first mixed tenure Exception Housing Scheme to be completed in North Norfolk.
