Music lovers can look forward to a fabulous evening when another leading orchestra heads to North Norfolk next month.
The City of London Sinfonia will be playing at St Catherine’s, Ludham, on Saturday, April 21 (7.30pm), with Bach’s Double Violin Concerto one of the highlights. Other works will include compositions by Tabakova, Purcell, Pärt and Mozart.
Tickets for the concert, which is being promoted by the Ludham Festival, are available from Ludham Butchers or by calling 01692 678060. They cost £12 in advance (£15 on the door) and children aged 16 and under can attend for free.
Cllr Becky Palmer, NNDC Portfolio Holder for Culture, said: “The combination of a great programme, a world-class orchestra and this venue is sure to make for an amazing evening.
“We are pleased to be supporting this event, including by helping to keep ticket prices down, and concert-goers can expect to enjoy a wonderful performance.”
Orchestras Live North Norfolk is behind a series of high-quality concerts, including a recent performance by the London Mozart Players at St Peter’s, Sheringham. The series is being supported by North Norfolk District Council in partnership with Orchestras Live and local community organisations, with funding from Arts Council England.
