Since introducing the Big Society Fund in 2012, North Norfolk District Council has awarded more than £1,500,000 to 202 community projects.
The latest round of awards will be considered at a panel meeting in March. If you have a project that would help improve the social and economic wellbeing of people in north Norfolk you could benefit from a grant of up to £15k.
Who can apply?
The Fund is available for projects that support people and activities within the North Norfolk District geographical area, for example:
- Local voluntary organisations, charities (whether registered or not) and community groups
- Parish and Town Councils within north Norfolk
- Larger regional or national charities or organisations if the funding is to deliver a specific project in north Norfolk
- Community businesses, social enterprises and other not-for profit organisations
Applications are considered throughout the year, but the deadline for applications for the panel to consider in March is Monday 12 February.
