Summer events at Holt Country Park and Pretty Corner Woods
North Norfolk District Council is hosting some fun and informative events in the countryside this summer

The popular Fun Day Out will return to Pretty Corner Woods on Thursday August 23 at 10am-4pm and in celebration of North Norfolk District Council’s (NNDC’s) GoGo Hare – A Hare Through the Seasons, situated at Holt Country Park there will be a Little Leverets Tea Party at the park on August 20 2-4pm.
The NNDC Sports and Countryside team will be at the sixth annual Fun Day Out to show what they offer the community as well as providing lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will be archery, mini-beast hunting, a nature trail, shelter building, sports activities, crafts, refreshment stalls and much more.
The Little Leverets Tea Party starts with a ranger trail through the woods to learn about hares and rabbits, visitors will then be told the story of the Hare and the Tortoise while enjoying a slice of cake and a drink. The event will finish with some hare-themed arts and crafts and the announcement of our GoGo Hare Colouring Competition.
Both events are suitable for all ages. The Fun Day Out is £6 for children, free for adults and free parking. Little Leverets Tea Party is £4 for children (parents must accompany children throughout) free for adults and parking is £2.
