North Norfolk District Council own and manage a number of beach huts and chalets in Cromer, Sheringham and Mundesley. A few ideally positioned chalets are still available to rent this half term (16/02/19 – 22/02/19) providing a beautiful view of our wonderful Blue Flag beaches, offering shelter, storage and added comfort.
In Cromer they are located at both the east and west sides of the promenade and in Sheringham on the west promenade.
All of the chalets are of a sturdy brick construction and come equipped with plastic patio chairs and tables, drying line, storage cupboard and coat hooks with drinking water points situated close by.
- Cromer East chalets are a short walk from cafés, the RNLI museum and toilets on the promenade 30-80 metres away. The nearest public car park is The Meadow (approximately half a mile).
- Cromer West chalets are adjacent to disabled parking, play equipment with refreshment kiosks and toilets within 50 metres. The nearest car park is Runton Road on the cliff top.
- Sheringham chalets are in an elevated position above the promenade with steps to the promenade, beach and cold water showers. Limited free public parking is available on the cliff top and toilets are located 60-80 metres away On the Leas. Some of these chalets also have electricity and water.
