Local school pupils and folk musicians will have the chance to connect with professional orchestra Sinfonia Viva who will perform a programme of classical greats at St Catherine’s Church in Ludham on Friday 11 October.

The forthcoming event will see school children from Ludham Primary School will be invited to the stage rehearsal by Grammy-nominated Sinfonia Viva prior to the concert.
Three members of the popular local band ‘The Occasional Ceilidh Band’ will perform alongside Sinfonia’s Viva’s 20-piece chamber orchestra for the opening of Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances which is a highlight of the evening programme.
Sinfonia Viva’s newly-appointed Leader and acclaimed violinist Sophie Rosa will direct the concert which also features music from Haydn, Mendelssohn and Mozart.
Ticket prices for the 7.30pm concert on October 11 are £12 in advance or £15 on the door.
Sinfonia Viva is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
