North Norfolk District Council is proud to support Norfolk Day 2020. In its third consecutive year, the day aims to celebrate all the wonderful things about our County, and indeed, District.

Cllr Clive Stockton, NNDC's Chairman, said: “Big skies, stunning coastline and beaches, gloriously rich countryside, the Broads - and the list goes on. This is the North Norfolk everyone sees but this is only the surface attraction of the area as the story goes so much deeper than that.

"North Norfolk is a place where one can make a home and a way of life which encompasses all the natural beauty without having to necessarily take on board all the unwanted pressures of modern life. It is a cliché (amongst several others) that Norfolk and its people are slow and behind the times - far from it, Norfolk is renowned for its heroes, its revolutionaries, its world class University, and its entrepreneurs - it’s just that one can choose how much outside to absorb.”

This is why I have made my home in North Norfolk for the last 30 years."

We would love to hear from our residents and visitors about what their favourite parts of North Norfolk are. Send us your photos, memories and favourite attractions on our Twitter and Facebook channels and tag us to let us know what you are doing to celebrate #NorfolkDay!
