Following on from the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 23 March, North Norfolk District Council are supporting the Government guidelines by keeping the following assets and facilities closed until further notice:
All public toilets
All play areas, as follows:
CROMER – Burn Hills Woods, Ferns Park Station Road, Meadow, Nelson Height, Warren Stoney Field,
EDGEFIELD – Edgefield Rectory Road
FAKENHAM – Heather Barrow, Lawns, Trap Lane, Wensum Way
HOLT - Neil Avenue, Holt Country Park
MUNDESLEY – Nelson Way
NORTH WALSHAM – Acorn Road, Gigli Close, Hollybush Road, Howlett Close, Sadlers Wood,
SHERINGHAM – Coopers Road, Cromer Road, Foxglove Lane, Leas, Nelson Road
STALHAM – Allen Meale
Coastal car parks as follows:
CROMER – Runton Road
EAST RUNTON – Beach Road
HAPPISBURGH – Cart Gap
MUNDESLEY – Beach Road
OVERSTRAND – Pauls Road
SEA PALLING – Clink Road
SHERINGHAM – Chequers, Cliff Road
WEYBOURNE – Beach Road
All leisure facilities are closed including Splash in Sheringham, Victory in North Walsham and Fakenham Sports and Leisure Centre.
The Pavilion Theatre and Cromer Pier will not be accessible to the public. We recognise that Cromer Pier is an iconic structure but the pier is a place where people might congregate and gather therefore closing it, except for access by the RNLI which will still operate, supports the Government guidelines.
Holt Country Park's public car parks and gates are closed as are other facilities such as the play area and café.
Please also be aware that Norfolk County Council have closed all of the recycling centres in our District, including Worstead, Sheringham, Wells, Hempton. View the latest bin collection information.
