As of Monday June 1, Cromer Pier will be open for residents and local visitors to enjoy. This is in light of the Government’s relaxation of some of its lockdown rules, and is part of a carefully considered phased opening of some facilities across North Norfolk.
We are aware that the Pier is an iconic structure in our District and are pleased that once again people can enjoy it, however we are still urging visitors to act responsibly.
Signage will be in place to advise on social distancing and this must be adhered to. Please avoid using the Pier if it is busy. There are many surfaces along the Pier, so ensure to use the facilities afterwards to wash hands thoroughly, or carry hand sanitiser with you, as sadly COVID19 is still prevalent and this is crucial to prevent the spread.
Please also be aware that The Pavilion, Tides Restaurant and The Gift Shop remain closed. Seek Government guidance to get the latest information on social distancing and being outdoors, and please stay safe.
