If your business has been forced to close due to lockdown restrictions, you may be eligible for a grant

The Local Restrictions Support Grant is now open for applications.
This is available for businesses that receive a business rates bill for their premises, who were open and trading on the 4 November 2020, and who have been legally forced to close their business due to the new Government lockdown restrictions announced on the 31 October 2020 that come into force on the 5 November 2020.
The amount of grant funding available will depend on the rateable value of the property, more details and the application form can be found at the dedicated webpage.
Cllr Eric Seward, NNDC’s Portfolio Holder for Finance and Assets, commented: “During this difficult time for many local businesses, the Council wants to encourage all eligible businesses to take advantage of Government schemes providing financial support. All eligible business will be sent an email or letter today with guidance on how to claim via our web form that is now live. Payments will be sent week commencing 23 November 2020.”
