North Norfolk District Council are currently reviewing the Polling Arrangements of some parishes following the three elections held in the district in 2019.

The interim review seeks to look at polling arrangements in the following 8 Polling Districts:

  • Matlaske
  • Sustead
  • Tunstead
  • Bale
  • Horsey
  • Ingworth
  • Morston
  • Sidestrand

Senior Elections Officer Rob Henry said:

"Following the three sets of elections held in 2019 we are reviewing arrangements in some of our smallest polling stations across the District.

"When reviewing, we assess the viability of the venue as a Polling Station against such criteria as the suitability of the building in terms of voter experience and staff comfort and safety, accessibility and whether the venue is cost effective and what alternatives there are.

With each review, we make improvements for subsequent elections across the District”

Consultation for this review will run until Monday 2nd November 2020 and details of how to make a representation can be found in the Notice of Review.

Any changes which are implemented as a result of this review will be communicated to any elector affected by the change and any revised arrangements will come into effect when the next scheduled elections take place on 6  May 2021.
