The High Street Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) Project in North Walsham has been widely consulting about the proposed changes to the town centre. This period of consultation has come to an end and the team has been overwhelmed by the fabulous response. It has been good to hear a wide range of views, comments and concerns.
The HAZ team has been busy talking to local residents, businesses, young people, adults with access issues and the church group. In particular, we welcome the response from North Walsham Town Council. Their councillors, as well as District councillors, have been incredibly supportive and provided invaluable feedback that will all filter into the final proposal.
Consultation events have taken place from a market stall, in the Library, outside Café Kitale, with Paston College students and even with shoppers going in and out of Sainsbury’s. Check out some of the local views via vox pops on social media!
Comments have also been gathered by paper and online surveys.
