In the interest of public health, 9 toilets will re-open in North Norfolk
The Big Society Fund has been suspended in order that NNDC can focus on supporting vulnerable residents, communities and businesses affected by Covid 19.
The grant panel that was due to meet in June will not take place. Any applications that have already been received will be postponed until the next panel meeting, currently scheduled for September.
In addition, it was agreed by Cabinet in March that the name and focus of the fund will change as of June 2020. The Big Society Fund will become the North Norfolk Sustainable Communities Fund.
Sustainable Communities are places in which people want to live, work and they meet the diverse needs of existing and future residents. They are sensitive to their environment, and contribute to a high quality of life.
The North Norfolk Sustainable Communities Fund will be more closely aligned to the key priorities for the Council such as climate, coast and environment and quality of life.
A new application pack for the North Norfolk Sustainable Communities Fund, including a prospectus, application form and guidance notes will be available on our website in June.
The closing date for applications to the North Norfolk Sustainable Communities Fund will be Monday 10 August 2020.
