The UK Government is changing how we vote. From May 2023, you will need to show photo ID when you vote at a polling station.
Is my tree protected?
The prior consent of the Local Planning Authority may be required to carry out any work to a tree.
Trees may be protected in the following ways:
- Tree Preservation Order - To find out if a tree, or trees, are subject to an Order, please search the Trees Online Register
- Located within a Conservation Area - Find out if your property is within a conservation area.
- A planning condition imposed on a Planning Approval - To check the planning history on your property, please search the Planning Public Access system
- Felling License - The felling of woodlands or large numbers of trees may require a license from the Forestry Commission
The prior consent of the Local Planning Authority may be required to carry out any tree work.
