Description
North Norfolk District Council is currently undertaking a consultation on our dog control orders currently in place across our beaches and promenades. The Council is legally required to review each dog order every three years.
In 2021 the following orders were re-introduced to restrict dog fouling and other dog-related offences.
The consultation will be open from 11 March 2024 until 11 April 2024.

The orders above expire on 1 May 2024, and the Council recommends extending them for three years. In addition, the Council also enforces a district-wide PSPO regarding Dog Fouling on Public Land, this is also proposed for renewal on 1 May 2024.
Under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act (2014), the Council must consult and consider the views of the public and other associated bodies before implementing its decision.
