This consultation seeks views on the draft proposed Statement of Licensing Policy 2021 to 2026.
The consultation closes Friday 24 September 2021.
The Licensing Act 2003 (the Act) controls sales of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment. As the Licensing Authority, under the Act, North Norfolk District Council must prepare and publish a statement of its licensing policy every five years.
Our current Statement of Licensing Policy for 2016 to 2021 took effect from 1 January 2016 and is, therefore, due for review. The regular review and adoption of the Statement of Licensing Policy help ensure that the council’s licensing policies and procedures are up to date and effective in providing a safe and regulated environment for users of licensed premises.
There are minor changes to the policy, making the document clearer and more accessible.
