You can obtain a COVID-19 Response Permit which will enable you to park without paying on a daily basis.

Once obtained this permit will be valid on all on and off street locations in West Norfolk, North Norfolk, Broadland, Breckland, South Norfolk and Great Yarmouth.

Who can apply?

You can apply for a free Convid-19 Response Permit if you are a member of a medical or care group or formally working on behalf of the COVID-19 response, providing services to the local community. 

How to apply for a free parking permit

You will need to register for an account and provide the following information:

  • email address or mobile phone number - to register for an account 
  • proof you are a employed as a volunteer - name badge or official letter of employment
  • your vehicle registration

Once obtained this permit will be valid on all on and off street locations in West Norfolk, North Norfolk, Broadland, Breckland, South Norfolk and Great Yarmouth. 

Vehicles must be parked so as not to cause an obstruction to the:

  • highway network
  • block driveways
  • dropped kerbs
  • crossing points
  • in areas that may have an adverse effect on traffic flow or public services
