Fakenham Connect

Fakenham Connect is a local Council Information Centre and employs joint information officers to provide the following services to local residents:

Services offered:

On behalf on North Norfolk District Council:

Environmental Health

• Council information officers providing assistance with a range of District Services.

On behalf on North Norfolk Housing Trust:

• Housing (Western Area)

On behalf of Norfolk County Council:

• Registrar of Births and Deaths
• Superintendent Registrar (Marriages)
• Facilitated access to other County services

Regular advice surgeries take place at Fakenham Connect:

• Planning every Thursday from 9.30 am to 12 midday
• Housing advice (homelessness) every Tuesday (by appointment)

Other facilities:

• Freephone to North Norfolk District Council offices in Cromer
• Free public internet access point (with help available if needed)

Fakenham Connect opening hours:

General information desk for access to all council services - Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 5 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

The Fakenham Town Council are based in the same building as Fakenham Connect and is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 1 pm.

Directions:

From Kings Lynn - Approaching Fakenham on the A148, at the Hillside roundabout (signed to Fakenham Town Centre) go straight across. Continue to the mini-roundabout and go straight across. Immediately after the zebra crossing, turn right and continue for approx a quarter of a mile - turn left into the road between the Library and Drifters Fish and Chip Shop - we are located in the building on the left hand side at the top of the hill. Parking is available in front of the building.

From Norwich - Approaching Fakenham on the A1067, go straight across at the roundabout, continue for approx 1 mile to the traffic lights. Go straight ahead, taken the first turning on the left and continue for about a quarter of a mile. Turn left into the road between the Library and Drifters Fish and Chip Shop - we are located in the building on the left hand side at the top of the hill. Parking is available in front of the building.
