5 May 2011 Local Elections & Referendum Notices

In this section, you will find all the relevant Notices for the Parish/Town and District Elections, as well as for the Referendum as and when they are published.

Parish/Town Elections

  • Statement of Persons Nominated 
    This document gives details of all nominations received in order of parish/town.  Scroll through the document to find the parish in which you are interested.
  • Notice of Poll 
    Now that the date by which candidates can withdraw their nominations has passed, this Notice lists the candidates who are going forward to the election on 5 May.
  • Notice of Uncontested Elections 
    This Notice details those Parish Councils where there will not be an election as the number of candidates was equal to or less than the number of vacancies available.  All candidates listed will become Parish Councillors without an election, provided that there are sufficient councillors to make a quorum (minimum of 3 candidates).  We will be in touch with the relevant Parish Clerks and Candidates about this process in the near future.
