Local groups reap the rewards from our Community Transport Grant Fund.
Community Transport Fund
The North Norfolk Community Transport Fund Panel awarded £42,000 to three Community Transport community groups and organisations, to support a wide range of projects between April 2022 and March 2023.
To date for this financial year, 2023 to 2024, £42,000 has been awarded to three community transport projects.
The worthy local causes which benefited from the latest round of funding includes:

| North Norfolk Community Transport | Continuation of existing Dial a Ride Service, which provides a door-to-door service on certain days, times and routes from various rural villages. | £12,000 |
| North Norfolk Community Transport | Continuation of funding to provide transport to anyone in the North Norfolk District Council area who requires a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle to help them get to medically-related appointments. | £28,000 |
| Great Massingham Community Car Scheme | Contribution towards continued funding for the scheme covering the four parishes within the North Norfolk District Council boundary towards the coordinator's salary costs. | £2,000 |
