Register a food business
Find out how to register a food business
If you own a food business, you should register it with us at least 28 days before you open or change ownership. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your business should be registered with us.
You can register online for free. You can also apply to change a food premise registration online. Alternatively, you can print a food business registration form. You can view the current list of registered food premises.
The only exception to the requirement to register a business applies to those businesses that need to be approved under EU legislation before they are allowed to operate. Please see our 'EU approval for food businesses' page for more information.
