NNDC programme of family fun days in some of our finest parks and woodlands and most beautiful beaches for 2012.

Please note:  open fires and bbq are not permitted on any site managed or owned by NNDC.

Holt Country Park Events 2012
Event Date Time Information Price
Bird Day Monday 13th February Starts 10am to 12.15pm.  Birds for beginners guided walk 11am to 12pm. Make bird boxes, bird tables and bird feeders with the rangers at Holt Country Park. Birds for beginners with local expert Peter Walton. Please wear outdoor clothes. No dogs on bird walk. £5.00 per child for guided walk and to make bird box or bird table. Or activities individual priced.
Tree give away Monday 13th February 1.30pm to 3.30pm Tree give away for visitors.  Take a tree home to plant in your garden.  BTCV. One tree per person. Free entry
Bacton Wood Events 2012
Event Date Time Information Price
Bird day Thursday 16th February 10am to 12.15pm.  Birds for beginners, guided walk 11am to 12pm. Bird box and bird table making.  Bird watching for beginners, guided walk with peter walton.  Please wear outdoor clothes.  No dogs on walk.  Parent guided only.  Bird box making and guided walk, £5.00 per child or set prices for activities. 
Please Note
  • Whilst every effort is made to keep to these dates and times, NNDC reserves the right to cancel or change any event at short notice. 
  • For ALL events children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 
  • Rangers will be wearing dark green shirts 
  • Please dress accordingly and wear sunscreen.
  • Please note there will be a charge for parking. 
  • Please wear shoes, wellies that have a grip, suitable for walking on beaches.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the blue flag areas on the beach.
