Groundwork East is running the North Norfolk Net Zero Advice service and grant program for North Norfolk District Council. This initiative is funded by the UK government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Reducing emissions and saving money
With the help of Groundwork consultants, Jayne's Hair Design received a decarbonisation plan and grant funding to implement the recommended measures outlined in the plan. The installed measures are expected to save the salon approximately £5,000 and reduce emissions by 3.7 tonnes of CO2e per year.

The Coastal Exploration Company received a carbon reduction grant from North Norfolk District Council to upgrade to 2 new electric outboard engines, anticipated to save around 0.5 tonnes of CO2e per year.
